I'm s.l.o.w.

There's this book I've been trying to read for well on over a year now. I can't get through it. Someday, I will. But for now, it sits. It's an awful book, but for some reason I can't get myself to just dump it forever. I feel obligated for read it.

Anyway, the reason I bring it up, is that I find reasons to not read it- I find other things to read, I do other things around the house to avoid it. Tonight was one of those nights. I also haven't really pulled out my computer in months except to sync or do a quick blog update. Today I felt an urge to do some pages. I'm kind of hoping to get through enough to be able to make Xachary's first book near his birthday like I did with Elisabeth. Here's hoping, right?

I finished up March- Hooray! Now on to April...maybe by Xak's 1st birthday I'll be able to get caught up so he has a book, too. :)

I like to load a whole bunch of pages and try to get through all of them in one go. I also like to load Ellie and Xak's pages together so I can see which ones are the same, so I don't have to redo them and waste time. When I don't finish a set up, I leave photoshop open and do them over a few days. The crummy thing is, is that for some reason, the longer photoshop is open with several files, the slower the program gets, and then it starts glitching. So tonight, I had to close down photoshop so I could restart...but then I realized I had a bunch of software updates that needed to happen, so I have to wait for those before I can restart.  So many technicalities.  I have 5 more pages for Xak in March, but Ellie's is done.  This is what I did today:

I have all but 5 pages done for February. A lot of the pages are duplicates- just a little adjusting for who it's for, so these have taken a lot longer than what I've done in the past.

Apparently my ability to "decorate" took 6 months. It was a good 6 month break though. I bought elements 10 and have been playing with it a little bit. I got 2 months done today, but I'd like to get a bunch more done over the weekend. Maybe I'll actually do this rather than nap when the kiddos are sleeping during the week? (probably not! haha)
